It is located on the east bank of the Nan River, 5 kilometers away from Phitsanulok city to the south along Borom Trai Lokanart Road, and it is also the location of the ancient city of Song Kwae before it came to be Phitsanulok city today According to history, it is said that King Bhumibol Adulyadej built the temple and went to ordain at this temple in 2007 for 8 months and 15 days with 2,348 courtiers ordained along with him. Inside the temple, there is an important historical site worth seeing, namely a small Khmer prang with a base width of 11 meters and a length of 18 meters, made of laterite. The front is made into a trimuk style, set on a three-tiered base; each floor twenty wooden recesses. There is a stucco decorated with patterns according to the steps. The lower part of the board and the lotus face of the board are swan patterns, like the pagoda at Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat Lopburi. Nearby, there is a replica of the Buddha's Footprint that King Narai the Great had wanted to build. By the inscription in front of the Mondop, it can be concluded that in 1678, King Narai the Great had a royal command to use a cloth around the Buddha's footprint engraved on stone bestowed upon them as a place of worship for the people
